Ginger is now Headspace Care

Kaiser Permanente offers wellness apps to members at no cost to support their mental health and emotional wellbeing. These self-care apps can help employees navigate life’s challenges, and make small changes to improve sleep, mood, relationships, and more.

Starting October 31, 2023, the mental health and wellness app, Ginger, has a new name: Headspace Care.1,2,3,4 This app offers members 1-on-1 emotional support coaching by text, self-care activities, and more — available 24/7. While Headspace Care (formerly called Ginger) may look a little different than before, the tools and resources offered remain unchanged – so your employees can get the same emotional support around the clock.
